أميركا تحذر رعاياها في فلسطين المحتلة

حذرت وزارة الخارجية الأميركية رعاياها في القدس والضفة الغربية وغزة الى الحد من تحركهم وتنقلاتهم وذلك بعد وقت قصير من إعلان وزير الخارجية، مايك بومبيو، تخفيف واشنطن موقفها تجاه المستوطنات الإسرائيلية.

وقالت السفارة الأميركية في إسرائيل في بيان لها "تنصح السفارة الأميركية المواطنين الموجودين في الداخل أو الذين يدرسون السفر إلى أو عبر القدس والضفة الغربية وغزة التحلي بدرجة كبيرة من اليقظة واتخاذ الخطوات الملائمة".

وكان بومبيو أعلن في وقت سابق أن المستوطنات الإسرائيلية المقامة على الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة "لا تتعارض مع القانون الدولي"، في تتويج لسلسلة من المواقف المساندة لإسرائيل خلال السنوات الأخيرة.

وأوضح أن إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترمب "تراجعت عن المواقف، التي اتخذتها إدارة سلفه باراك أوباما، فيما يتعلق بالموقف من المستوطنات".
