تمت يوم السبت الواقع في السابع والعشرين من شهر صفر 1441 هجرية، الموافق للسادس والعشرين من شهر تشرين الأول 2019 ميلادية، خطوبة صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة راية بنت الحسين على السيد فارس دونوفان.

والديوان الملكي الهاشمي إذ يهنئ صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة راية بنت الحسين والسيد فارس دونوفان بهذه المناسبة، ليتمنى لهما حياة مليئة بالسعادة والتوفيق والهناء.

يشار إلى أن سمو الأميرة راية، المولودة لجلالة المغفور له، بإذن الله، الملك الحسين بن طلال، طيب الله ثراه، وجلالة الملكة نور الحسين في التاسع من شهر شباط عام 1986 حاصلة على الماجستير بالدراسات اليابانية من جامعة أدنبرة – اسكتلندا، ودرجة ماجستير ثانية من جامعة كولومبيا في نيويورك بالأدب الياباني، وتدرس حاليا الدكتوراه في الأدب الياباني في جامعة كاليفورنيا.
