بعد أخذ وردّ حول المحطة التي إنتقلت إليها سهير القيسي بعدما تركت قناة MBC، أعلنت المقدمة العراقية قبل ساعات إلتحاقها بقناة «روتانا» السعودية. وكتبت القيسي على صفحتها على انستغرام تعليقاً مما فيه «نعم انضممت رسمياً لشبكة قنوات «روتانا» كوجه رئيس منذ أشهر وتفاصيل ما يتم إعداده نعلنها تباعاً»،

بهذه الخطوة تكون القيسي قد وضعت حدّاً للأخبار التي إنتشرت أخيراً وقيل إنها إنضمت لفريق قناة BEIN القطرية بعدما إلتحقت بها زميلتها علا الفارس التي صوّرت برنامجاً إجتماعياً سيكشف عنه قريباً.

الفارس أيضاً كانت ضمن فريق MBC وإنفصلت عن الشاشة بعد خلافات إثر تغريدة لها على تويتر. يذكر أن القيسي كانت ضمن فريق قناة «العربية»، وعام 2014 انتقلت إلى قناة MBC لتقديم نشرة الأخبار. لكن عملها في MBC لم يدم طويلاً، وغابت عن الشاشة من دون أيّ تبرير. ومن يومها تنتشر أخبار كل فترة عن تعاونها مع قنوات أخرى.
