ظفر فريق نادي السلط بلقب كأس الأردن لكرة اليد لموسم 2018-2019، بعد فوزه، اليوم الثلاثاء، على فريق العربي 28-21 في المباراة النهائية التي أقيمت في صالة الأميرة سمية بمدينة الحسين للشباب.

وانتهى شوط المباراة الأول بتقدم السلط 13-12 الذي نجح في الشوط الثاني بتوسيع الفارق وحسم المباراة لصالحه وبالتالي التتويج باللقب.

وعقب نهاية المباراة، قام نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية الدكتور ساري حمدان بتتويج فريق السلط بكأس البطولة وقلد لاعبيه الميداليات الذهبية، فيما تقليد لاعبي فريق العربي بالميداليات الفضية.

وكان فريق السلط صعد للنهائي بالفوز على فريق الحسين اربد في مباراة الدور قبل النهائي، فيما صعد العربي للنهائي بعد فوزه على فريق النادي الأهلي.
