دراسة رسمية قدرت عدد «نباشي» الحاويات في عمان بـ (1700) نباش 12 بالمائة منهم يقومون بالعمل بشكل دائم.. الدراسة اوضحت ان رقم النباشين تناقص بسبب الانخفاض الحاد في قيمة الكرتون الذي يتم بيعه لاعادة تدويره . الدراسة لاحظت ان النباشين يسببون احيانا ببعض المشاكل من خلال بعثرة النفايات وحرقها واحداث الضرر بالحاويات.
