سنغافورة تطلق حافلة ذاتية القيادة مع بداية 2017

من المقرر أن تبدأ سنغافورة خدمة الحفلات ذاتية القيادة خلال الربع الأول من العام 2017.

ويمكن للحافلة الذاتية القيادة أن تُقلّ 15 راكبا، ومن المقرر أن تنقل الركاب بين جامعة نانيانغ التكنولوجية وحديقة "CleanTech eco-business" بما يقارب 1.5 كيلومتر.

ونشرت جامعة تايوان الوطنية فيديو عبر صفحتها الخاصة على فيسبوك تعرض من خلاله الحافلة الجديدة، وكُتب على الصفحة أنه سيتم طرحها قبل بدأ الفصل الدراسي المقبل.

ويطلق على الحافلة اسم "آرما" وقد تم تطويرها من قبل الشركة الفرنسية "نافيا".

ووفقا لموقع الشركة المصنعة فإن الحافلة تعتمد أجهزة استشعار للتحكم بها عن بُعد، وهي مزودة بكاميرات تساعد في الكشف عن العقبات التي تعترض طريقها فضلا عن اتصالها بشبكة "GPS" بحيث يمكن مراقبة مكان تواجد الحافلة.

وتعتمد "أرما" على الكهرباء ويمكن للبطارية الاستمرار بالعمل طوال نصف يوم وهذا الأمر يتوقف على المسافة المقطوعة وحركة المرور.
