حوالات العمالة الوافدة في المملكة بلغت مليار ونصف المليار دينار سنويا على ما افادت مصادر مطلعة الى «عين الرأي» . ويوجد في المملكة اكثر من 800 الف عامل وافد حوالي نصف مليون منهم لا يملكون تصاريح عمل. واصدرت وزارة العمل تعليمات جديدة تهدف الى ضبط وتنظيم سوق العمل وتمنع البنوك ومحلات الصرافة إتمام أي تحويلات مالية إلى خارج البلاد لمن لا يملكون بطاقة إقامة سارية المفعولة والمخصصة للوافدين.
