ودع لاعب منتخب الملاكمة عبادة الكسبة منافسات دورة الألعاب الأولمبية المقامة في مدينة ريو دي جانيرو البرازيلية بعد خسارته النزال الأول أمام الملاكم الكندي آرثر بيرسلانوف بنتيجة (3-0) ضمن منافسات الملاكمة لوزن 64 كغم. وقدم عبادة نزالا صاحبه أداء قويا أمام الكندي تخلله العديد من فترات السيطرة ضمن الجولات الثلاث الا أن قرار الحكام بالاجماع ذهب للكندي بيرسلانوف ليودع عبادة منافسات دورة الألعاب الأولمبية.
