القدس - رويترز - قال مسؤول في خدمة اطفاء الحرائق الإسرائيلية اليوم الاثنين إن حريقا دمر مكاتب أحد جماعات حقوق الانسان البارزة في القدس وكان ناجما على الأرجح عن ماس كهربائي.

واندلع الحريق في وقت متأخر من مساء أمس الأحد في مكاتب منظمة بتسيلم التي تراقب احترام حقوق الإنسان في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة. ولم يصب أحد جراء الحريق.

وأثار الحريق تكهنات بأن يكون له صلة محتملة بسلسلة هجمات تخريبية لنشطاء متطرفين استهدفوا كنائس ومساجد وممتلكات فلسطينية ومدرسة يرتداها اليهود والعرب في القدس.

وقال إيلي بيريتس مدير إدارة الحرائق في منطقة القدس لراديو الجيش إن المحققين لم يعثروا على أدلة تشير إلى أن الحريق كان متعمدا مضيفا "على الأرجح كان الحريق ناجما عن ماس كهربائي".
