نيويورك - بترا - أدى سمو الأمير زيد بن رعد الليلة قبل الماضية في نيويورك اليمين القانونية أمام أمين عام الأمم المتحدة، بان كي مون مفوضا ساميا لحقوق الانسان.
وقال نائب الناطق الأعلامي بالامم المتحدة، فرحان الحق «أن مراسم أداء اليمين للمفوض السامي الجديد لحقوق الإنسان،الامير زيد بن رعد، تمت في مقر الامم المتحدة امس الاول الخميس» وكان سموه قد تسلم رسميا يوم الأثنين الماضي مهام منصبه الجديد بعد أن وافقت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة بالاجماع في 16 تموز الماضي على قرار تعيينه من قبل الأمين العام.
