عمان - بترا - قرر مجلس التعليم العالي التنسيب بتعيين الأستاذ الدكتور نظير نايف ابو عبيد رئيساً للجامعة الالمانية - الاردنية لمدة أربع سنوات اعتباراً من تاريخ صدور الإرادة الملكية السامية بالموافقة على القرار.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع للمجلس امس الاحد برئاسة وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الدكتور امين محمود ،واستناداً إلى المادة (6/أ/6) من قانون التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي رقم (23) لسنة2009 وتعديلاته وإلى المادة (12/ب) من قانون الجامعات الأردنية رقم (20) لسنة 2009 وتعديلاته.
وكان الدكتور ابو عبيد قد شغل منصب نائب رئيس الجامعة الالمانية - الاردنية، وعميدا لكلية هندسة العمارة في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الاردنية، وعضو هيئة تدريس فيها.
