كيوبيك سيتي - د ب أ - ذكرت هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية بي.بي.سي امس أن السكرتير العام للجنة الأولمبية الأوكرانية تعرض للإيقاف بعد ورود ادعاءات حول محاولة بيعه تذاكر لأولمبياد لندن إلى مراسل الاذاعة.
وأوضحت بي.بي.سي أن فولوديمير جيراشينكو عرض 100 تذكرة على صحفي طرح نفسه على أنه متعامل في السوق السوداء، حيث أكد جيراشينكو أنه يريد أن يحصل على أمواله نقدا.
وبعد ساعات من نشر النبأ، تم إيقاف جيراشينكو من قبل سيرجي بوبكا رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية الأوكرانية.
وقال بوبكا خلال اجتماع اللجنة الأولمبية في كيوبيك سيتي بكندا «لقد أوقفته وفي الصباح سأعين لجنة مستقلة للبحث في الأمر».
وأبلغ بوبكا، حامل الرقم القياسي العالمي في القفز بالزانة..ويشغل منصب عضو اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية منذ عام 2008..بواقعة جيراشينكو إلى اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية.
ويحصل الفريق الأوكراني على 2900 تذكرة لدورة الألعاب الأولمبية التي تنطلق في غضون شهرين.
