عمان - بترا - زار الجنرال شارلتون من القيادة المركزية الاميركية الوسطى والمسؤول عن تطوير القوات الأفغانية أمس الاول قيادة قوة الواجب الخاص أفغنستان /6.
واستمع الجنرال شارلتون الى إيجاز قدمه قائد القوة العقيد الركن محمد فهيد العجارمة حول عمل القوة وطبيعة الواجبات والمهمات التي تقوم بها ودورها في مجالات الدعم الإنساني والطبي للمواطنين الأفغان وبرنامج الدعم الديني من خلال الإذاعات المحلية وإعمار المساجد والمدارس وبعض النشاطات الأخرى كالاحتفالات والندوات.
وابدى الجنرال شارلتون إعجابه الكبير بالمستوى المتميز الذي تتمتع به القوات المسلحة الاردنية، مؤكدا أهمية دورها في الدعم الديني والإنساني الذي تتميز به عن القوات الأميركية وضرورة الاستفادة من الخبرات المتوافرة لديها في هذا المجال.
