وبحسب عميد شؤون الطلبة بالجامعة د. عوض اخو رشيدة، ستستضيف ملاعب الجامعة كافة المنتخبات المشاركة ببطولة غرب آسيا، وسبق للجامعة أن استضافت تدريبات المنتخبات الوطنية على مدى السنوات السابقة.
