لندن (د ب أ) - أكد نادي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي لكرة القدم امس الأربعاء أن الشيخ منصور بن زايد أصبح الآن هو المالك الوحيد للنادي.
واشترى الشيخ منصور النسبة الباقية من أسهم النادي والتي بلغت 10 بالمئة وذلك من مؤسسة وورلد وايد الاستثمارية ، ولم يفصح عن المقابل المادي للصفقة.
وتبلغ ثروة الشيخ منصور ، أحد أفراد العائلة المالكة في أبو ظبي ، حوالي 555 مليار جنيه استرليني (تريليون دولار) ليصبح بذلك أغنى مالكي أندية الدوري الإنجليزي.
وأنفق مانشستر سيتي أكثر من 100 مليون استرليني هذا الصيف لتدعيم صفوف الفريق بعدد من اللاعبين الجدد وبالفعل استهل الفريق مسيرته في الدوري الإنجليزي هذا الموسم بشكل طيب ليحتل المركز الرابع حاليا في جدول المسابقة.
