الزرقاء – ماجد الخضري - اعلن محافظ الزرقاء سامح المجالي، عن اغلاق سجن بيرين غرب الزرقاء، ونقل سجناء المركز الذي يقع وسط الأحياء السكنية إلى سجن الهاشمية الجديد ومراكز اصلاح أخرى. وقال المحافظ في تصريح إلى «الراي»، بانه تم إغلاق أبواب السجن قبل أيام، مطالبا بالاستفادة من مبنى السجن في انشاء مركز صحي شامل يخدم منطقة غرب الزرقاء لحاجة المنطقة لمثل هذا المركز.
وتاتي عملية نقل السجن بعد مطالبات من سكان غرب الزرقاء، حيث تكتظ المنازل بالقرب من سور السجن بالمواطنين الذين كانوا يشكون دوما من الازعاجات الصادرة من السجن.
