أعلنت مجموعة حرس السواحل بالحرس الوطني الإماراتي إنقاذ 22 شخصا من الجنسيات العربية، وتقديم الإسعافات الأولية اللازمة لهم إثر اندلاع حريق في سفينة شحن كانوا على متنها في بحر عمان.

وبحسب بيان نشرته وكالة أنباء الإمارات (وام)، اليوم الأحد، جاءت عملية الإنقاذ عقب تلقي مجموعة حرس السواحل اليوم الأحد بلاغا من طاقم السفينة يفيد باندلاع حريق على متنها، إذ باشرت الفرق المختصة على الفور إجراءات الاستجابة والتعامل مع البلاغ، وتمكنت من تحديد موقع الناقلة والوصول إليها وإنقاذ أفرادها.
