قال مستشار الأمن القومي لكوريا الجنوبية وي سونج لاك، الخميس، إن سول لا تزال تدرس خيارات متعددة بشأن انتشار محتمل في مضيق هرمز، بما يشمل إرسال طائرة تابعة للبحرية للقيام بدوريات.

وأضاف خلال جلسة برلمانية أن سول تواصل مباحثاتها مع واشنطن حول الخيارات المتاحة، لكن نشر قوات قتالية مستبعد بما يتسق مع ما أعلنه الرئيس لي جاي-ميونج في وقت سابق.
