قال مجموعة البنك الدولي، الأربعاء، إنّ من المتوقع أن تقفز أسعار السلع الأولية العالمية 23% العام الحالي مستندا إلى ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة وتعطل شحن البضائع نتيجة الحرب الدائرة في الشرق الأوسط ومشكلات شحن الحبوب عبر البحر الأسود والطلب المرتفع على أصول الملاذ الآمن مثل الذهب.

وأضاف البنك الدولي في أحدث إصدار من تقريره حول آفاق أسواق السلع الأولية أنّ أسعار النفط والغاز الطبيعي والغذاء والمعادن جميعها ارتفعت بحدة هذا العام مع تفاقم الأزمات العالمية.

وأشار إلى أن الوضع قد يتفاقم إذا تصاعد الصراع في الشرق الأوسط واستمر الضرر الذي لحق بالبنية التحتية النفطية الروسية.
