16 قتيلا و32 مصابا في زلزال الصين

قضى 16 شخصا وأصيب 32 آخرون جراء زلزال بقوة سبع درجات ضرب منطقة التيبت النائية، وفق ما أفادت وكالة أنباء الصين الجديدة (شينخوا) فجر الجمعة نقلا عن مسؤولين محليين.

وذكرت الوكالة أن أكثر من 300 منزل انهارت جراء الزلزال الذي وقع الخميس في الساعة 10,33 مساء (14,33 بتوقيت غرينتش).

وأضافت أن المسؤولين ما زالوا يعملون على تقييم الأضرار، في حين تتواصل جهود الإغاثة في أعقاب الكارثة.

وحُدد مركز الزلزال على مسافة نحو 190 كيلومترا إلى شرق ناغتشو وشمال شرقها، و390 كيلومترا إلى الشمال الشرقي من العاصمة الإقليمية لاسا.

وضرب على عمق ضحل بلغ 10 كيلومترات.

وكانت وكالة "شينخوا" ذكرت أن إدارة الزلازل الصينية فعّلت استجابة طارئة من المستوى الثاني.

كثيرا ما تضرب زلازل الصين.

وفي كانون الثاني/ يناير 2025، قُتل 126 شخصا على الأقل في زلزال ضرب مقاطعة تينغري الريفية في التيبت.
