أعربت جمهورية مصر العربية عن إدانتها واستنكارها للهجوم الذي استهدف مطار الملك فهد بمدينة الدمام في المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة، ما أسفر عن حالتي وفاة لمدنيين وعدد من الإصابات، في استمرار لانتهاك قواعد القانون الدولي واستهداف حركة الملاحة الجوية والمنشآت والأشخاص المدنيين.

وشددت مصر في بيان صادر عن وزارة خارجيتها، على رفضها القاطع لتلك الممارسات التي من شأنها تأجيج الأزمة وزيادة التوتر وزعزعة الاستقرار بالمنطقة ، مؤكدة تضامنها الكامل ووقوفها بجانب المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة وقيادتها في الدفاع عن أراضيها ومواطنيها، لا سيما ان أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من الأمن القومي العربي والمصري.
