أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، الأحد، محاولة تسلل لشخص على إحدى واجهاتها الحدودية، بعد أن تمكنت قوات حرس الحدود من رصده أثناء محاولته اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة.

وتعاملت قوات حرس الحدود مع المتسلل وفق قواعد الاشتباك المعمول بها، وتمكنت من إلقاء القبض عليه وتحويله إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.

وتواصل القوات المسلحة الأردنية تنفيذ مهامها في تأمين الحدود وحمايتها من محاولات التسلل والأنشطة غير المشروعة في إطار واجباتها للحفاظ على أمن المملكة وسيادتها.
