نفذ مركز شابات القويسمة جلسة توعوية بعنوان «الشباب صُنّاع السلام»، بمناسبة اليوم الدولي للسلام، بمشاركة 25 شابة ضمن الفئة العمرية من 18 إلى 30 عامًا.

وتناولت الجلسة قرار مجلس الأمن رقم (2250) المتعلق بالشباب والسلام والأمن، ودور وحدة الشباب والسلام والأمن في وزارة الشباب، إلى جانب التعريف بالركائز الخمس للقرار، وأهميته في تعزيز مشاركة الشباب بوصفهم شركاء فاعلين في بناء السلام وصنع القرار.

كما جرى تسليط الضوء على رؤية الخطة الوطنية الأردنية للشباب والسلام والأمن، وأهمية تمكين الشباب وتعزيز دورهم في نشر ثقافة الحوار والتسامح ونبذ العنف.

وفي ختام الجلسة، فُتح باب النقاش والحوار حول دور المراكز الشبابية في إشراك الشباب في مبادرات بناء السلام، والفرص المتاحة أمامهم للمشاركة الفاعلة من خلال المراكز الشبابية.
