توقعت وكالة الطاقة الدولية استمرار نقص إمدادات الديزل حتى عام 2027، في ظل تراجع المخزونات إلى مستويات متدنية وقيود الإنتاج قبل ذروة الطلب الشتوي.

وقالت الوكالة، في تقريرها الشهري عن سوق النفط، إن هوامش أرباح تكرير الديزل بلغت مستويات قياسية عند نحو 95 دولارا للبرميل في أيلول، مع تراجع الإنتاج بشكل حاد نتيجة انخفاض طاقة التكرير بسبب الهجمات المرتبطة بالحرب الأميركية على إيران.

وأضافت أن أسواق الديزل لا تزال تواجه ضغوطا كبيرة، مشيرة إلى أن استمرار اضطرابات الإمدادات لفترة طويلة أدى إلى السحب من المخزونات، خلافا للنمط المعتاد في الفترة التي تسبق أعمال الصيانة الخريفية للمصافي وذروة الطلب في الشتاء.
