حقق فريق الحسين لكرة القدم فوزا على نظيره السيب العُماني بنتيجة 3-0، في المباراة التي جمعتهما الثلاثاء في العاصمة العُمانية مسقط، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات لبطولة دوري أبطال آسيا 2.

وسجل عارف الحاج أهداف الحسين الثلاثة، إذ افتتح التسجيل في الدقيقة 42، قبل أن يضيف الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 55، ويختتم ثلاثيته الشخصية في الدقيقة 82، ليقود فريقه إلى تحقيق الفوز وحصد ثلاث نقاط.

وبهذا الفوز، رفع الحسين رصيده إلى 4 نقاط في المجموعة الرابعة، بعد تعادله مع فريق إيست بنغال الهندي بنتيجة 2-2 في الجولة الأولى.

ويعزز هذا الانتصار حظوظ الحسين في المنافسة على إحدى بطاقتي التأهل عن المجموعة إلى الدور المقبل من البطولة.
