دعت رئيسة اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر ميريانا سبولياريتش، الثلاثاء، إلى بذل جهود عاجلة "لخفض التصعيد" في الشرق الأوسط، محذرة من أن تصاعد الأعمال العدائية سيكون "كارثيا" لعشرات ملايين الأشخاص.

وقالت سبولياريتش في بيان إن "أي تصعيد إضافي للأعمال العدائية سيكون كارثيا بالنسبة لعشرات الملايين من البشر. ولذا، لا بد من بذل جهود عاجلة لخفض التصعيد وحماية المدنيين من المزيد من الأذى".
