قُتل 3 مواطنين سعوديين وأصيب آخرون من جنسيات مختلفة، إثر اعتداءين استهدفا مطار الملك خالد الدولي في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، الخميس، وفق ما أعلنته الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني السعودية.

وقالت الهيئة إن الاعتداء الأول استهدف مرافق المطار، فيما استهدف الاعتداء الثاني طائرة تابعة للخطوط الجوية السعودية، مشيرة إلى استئناف العمليات التشغيلية في المطار وعودة الحركة الجوية إلى طبيعتها.

من جهتها، أعلنت الخطوط الجوية السعودية مقتل أحد منسوبيها جراء الحادثة، وتضرر إحدى طائراتها أثناء وجودها على أرض المطار، مؤكدة عدم وجود ركاب على متن الطائرة وقت وقوع الحادثة.

وأضافت الشركة أن رحلاتها وعملياتها التشغيلية في مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض استؤنفت اعتبارا من الساعة السادسة مساء الخميس.
