أصدر وزير الصحة إبراهيم البدور قرارا يقضي بمنع بيع الشيبس بمختلف أنواعه في المقاصف المدرسية، في إطار الإجراءات الصحية الناظمة للأغذية المسموح ببيعها في المدارس.

ونشرت الجريدة الرسمية القرار، الذي يستند إلى أحكام قانون الصحة العامة وتعديلاته، على أن يبدأ العمل به اعتبارا من تاريخ نشره في الجريدة الرسمية.

ويأتي القرار ضمن الإجراءات المتعلقة بتنظيم الأغذية التي تباع في المقاصف المدرسية، بهدف تعزيز المعايير الصحية للأغذية المقدمة للطلبة.
