السعودية تتوج بلقب كأس الخليج

توج المنتخب السعودي بلقبه الأول في كأس الخليج لكرة القدم منذ نسخة 2003-2004 والرابع في تاريخه، بفوزه في نهائي النسخة السابعة والعشرين (خليجي 27) على أرضه وبين جماهيره في الرياض على نظيره الإماراتي 2-0 الثلاثاء.

وسجلت السعودية هدفين سريعين عبر برونو أوليفيرا (11 بالخطأ في مرماه) وفراس البريكان (13)، لتعودإلى منصة التتويج بعد غياب 23 عاما وتحديدا منذ النسخة السادسة عشرة التي أقيمت بنظام المجموعة في الكويت بين 26 كانون الأول/ديسمبر و11 كانون الثاني/يناير 2004.

من جهتها، فشلت الإمارات في التتويج للمرة الثالثة بعد 2007 و2013، وخسرت ثاني مباراة نهائية بعد 2018.
