أعلن التحالف العسكري لدعم الحكومة في اليمن بقيادة السعودية الخميس اعتراض وتدمير صاروخين بالستيين ومسيرات في مدينتي خميس مشيط وجازان في جنوب المملكة، وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ 26 أيلول/سبتمبر، موجها أصابع الاتهام الى الحوثيين في اليمن.

وقال المتحدث باسم التحالف تركي المالكي على منصة "اكس" "اعتراض وتدمير صاروخين بالستيين في مدينتي خميس مشيط وجازان... و4 مسيّرات في مدينة خميس مشيط"، لافتا إلى أن التحالف مستمر "في اتخاذ وتنفيذ الإجراءات العملياتية لردع الميليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية"، فيما أفاد الدفاع المدني بأن شظايا اعتراض صاروخ بالستي سقطت في محافظة خميس مشيط وأدت الى "أضرار مادية محدودة".
