تلقى جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني اتصالا هاتفيا، اليوم الأربعاء، من جلالة الملك ويليام ألكسندر، ملك مملكة هولندا، بحثا خلاله أبرز المستجدات الإقليمية.

وأكد جلالة الملك، خلال الاتصال، ضرورة خفض التصعيد في المنطقة واحترام أمن الدول العربية وسيادتها.

وحذر جلالته من التطورات الخطيرة في الضفة الغربية والقدس وأثرها على توسع الصراع، لافتا إلى ضرورة دعم جهود لبنان وسوريا لحفظ أمنهما واستقرارهما.

كما بحث الزعيمان متانة علاقات الصداقة بين المملكتين وسبل تعزيز التعاون، إذ أكد جلالة الملك أهمية استمرار التنسيق والتشاور خدمة لمصالح البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
