أنهى المنتخب الوطني للتسلق الرياضي، مشاركته في دورة الألعاب الآسيوية – ناغويا 2026.

وشارك اللاعب عمر أبو حمتو، في التصفيات التأهيلية لمنافسات تسلق السرعة، حيث حل في المركز (19)، بعد أن سجل أزمنة بلغت 8.90 و 9.15 و 8.8.

ولم يتمكن أبو حمتو من التأهل إلى دور الـ16، ليختتم بذلك مشاركته في الدورة.

وكانت اللاعبة جود فركوح قد شاركت، في التصفيات التأهيلية لمنافسات تسلق السرعة للسيدات، من دون أن تتمكن من التأهل إلى الدور التالي.

وتُعد هذه المشاركة الأولى للأردن في منافسات التسلق الرياضي ضمن دورات الألعاب الآسيوية، حيث جاءت مشاركة أبو حمتو وفركوح بهدف اكتساب الخبرة، وتعزيز الاحتكاك على المستوى القاري.
