نسبت رويترز إلى مسؤول مطلع قوله إن وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي وفريقه التقوا مساء الثلاثاء بوسطاء قطريين في الدوحة، حيث تلقى الوزير الرد الأميركي على مقترح الأيام السبعة، على أن يناقشه في طهران الأربعاء.

وأضاف المسؤول أن الوثيقة التي يجري التفاوض بشأنها تتضمن خطة مدتها سبعة أيام لبناء الثقة والعودة إلى نسخة معززة من مذكرة التفاهم التي وقعتها الولايات المتحدة وإيران في حزيران.

وأوضح أن الخلاف الرئيسي بين واشنطن وطهران يتعلق بترتيب تنفيذ الخطوات، وليس بعناصر خطة الأيام السبعة.

وكانت إيران قد قدمت عبر وسطاء قطريين مقترحا ينص على خطوات لإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز واستئناف المفاوضات بشأن الملف النووي، فيما تتواصل الاتصالات غير المباشرة بين الجانبين بوساطة قطرية.
