‏أجرى لاعب المنتخب الوطني لكرة السلة أحمد الدويري، عملية جراحية لإعادة بناء الرباط الصليبي الأمامي وإصلاح الغضروف المفصلي الجانبي، وذلك تحت إشراف الدكتور باريش كوكا أوجلو، بمستشفى أجيبادم التونيزاد في تركيا.

‏وكشف اتحاد كرة السلة أن الدويري سيخضع خلال المرحلة المقبلة لبرنامج تأهيلي وعلاجي وفق خطة طبية متخصصة، متمنيا له الشفاء التام، والعودة سريعاً إلى صالات كرة السلة بأفضل جاهزية، لمواصلة مسيرته وتمثيل صقور الأردن في الاستحقاقات المقبلة.
