بعث جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني برقية تعزية إلى أخيه سمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، حاكم دبي، بوفاة شقيقه الشيخ أحمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، رحمه الله.

وأعرب جلالته، باسمه وباسم شعب المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وحكومتها، عن أصدق مشاعر التعزية والمواساة بهذا المصاب الأليم، سائلا المولى، جلت قدرته، أن يتغمد الفقيد بواسع رحمته ويسكنه فسيح جناته، وأن يلهم سمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد والعائلة الكريمة والشعب الإماراتي الشقيق جميل الصبر وحسن العزاء.
