أفادت وكالة فارس الإيرانية بتدمير طائرة مسيّرة من طراز إم كيو – 1 في أجواء مضيق هرمز.

ونقلت الوكالة عن الحرس الثوري الإيراني قوله إنه رصد، قبل لحظات، طائرة مسيّرة من طراز إم كيو – 1 تابعة للجيش الأميركي، وإنها دُمرت بنيران منظومة دفاع جوي متطورة تابعة للقوة الجوفضائية للحرس الثوري في أجواء مضيق هرمز.

وأضافت الوكالة أن هذا الطراز من الطائرات المسيّرة الأميركية أُخرج من الخدمة منذ عدة سنوات لدى القوات البحرية والجوية للجيش الأميركي، وحلّت طائرات إم كيو – 9 محله.

وذكرت أنه مع تدمير جزء كبير من طائرات إم كيو-9، اضطرت الولايات المتحدة مجددا إلى استخدام طائرات إم كيو – 1.
