أكدت وزارة الاتصال الحكومي أن الأسبوع الحالي سيشهد تسليط الضوء على تكامل الخدمات الصحية على مدار العامين الماضيين، ودورها في تقليل أوقات الانتظار وعناء التنقل، إلى جانب توسيع القدرة الاستيعابية وتخفيف الضغط على المنشآت الصحية.

وقالت الوزارة، في منشور عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، إن تحسين القطاع الصحي لا يتحقق من خلال مشروع واحد، وإنما عبر منظومة متكاملة تبدأ من الرعاية الأولية، وتمتد لتشمل المستشفيات والخدمات التخصصية والصحة الرقمية وتوصيل الأدوية.
