دانت جامعة الدول العربية، بأشد العبارات، الاعتداء الذي نفذته ميليشيا الحوثي بطائرة مسيرة، استهدفت محافظة الطائف بالمملكة العربية السعودية.

وأكدت الجامعة العربية في بيان، أن استمرار هذه الاعتداءات على أراضي المملكة العربية السعودية يشكل تهديدا لأمنها وسلامة مواطنيها، فضلا عما ينطوي عليه من زيادة حدة التوتر والتصعيد القائم في المنطقة، مشددة على أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية واستقرارها جزء لا يتجزأ من الأمن القومي العربي.

وجدد المتحدث الرسمي باسم الأمين العام رفض جامعة الدول العربية القاطع لهذه الاعتداءات، داعيا إلى وقفها فورا، مؤكدا تضامن الجامعة العربية الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية ووقوفها إلى جانبها في مواجهة أي اعتداءات.
