وقال جلالة الملك عبر حسابه على منصة "إكس": "بحثت مع الرئيس ماكرون سبل الارتقاء بالعلاقات الثنائية الراسخة والتنسيق المستمر، وشهدنا توقيع اتفاقية تعاون دفاعي".

وأضاف جلالته: "عقدنا لقاء مع فخامة الرئيس اللبناني أكدنا خلاله أهمية استضافة باريس لاجتماعات العقبة لدعم الجيش اللبناني، ونتطلع لمواصلة العمل لتحقيق استقرار لبنان والمنطقة".

وكان جلالة الملك وصل الخميس، إلى مقر انعقاد اجتماعات العقبة في باريس بشأن سبل دعم الجيش اللبناني.

ويترأس جلالته والرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون والرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزاف عون، في باريس، جولة جديدة من مبادرة "اجتماعات العقبة" لبحث سبل دعم الجيش اللبناني.
