أعلنت وزارة وزارة الطاقة السعودية، الجمعة، إيقاف خط الأنابيب شرق-غرب احترازيا بعد استهدافه في منطقتي الرياض والمدينة أمس الخميس.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية (واس) نقلا عن مصدر مسؤول في وزارة الطاقة قوله إن "خط أنابيب شرق - غرب في منطقتي (الرياض والمدينة المنورة) تعرض، صباح الخميس، لعدة استهدافات، وتم إيقاف الخط احترازيًا ونتج عن الاستهدافات وقوع بعض الإصابات، وتم تقديم الرعاية الصحية للمصابين".

وأوضح المصدر أن فرق الطوارئ والفرق الفنية المختصة باشرت أعمالها فور وقوع الاستهدافات، واتخذت الإجراءات اللازمة لتأمين الخط والتحقق من سلامته، وفق إجراءات السلامة وخطط الطوارئ المعتمدة، بالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، وسيتم الإعلان عن أي مستجدات في حينه.
