فرضت الولايات المتحدة الثلاثاء، عقوبات على "جميع شركات الطيران الإيرانية المتبقية" التي كانت لا تزال خارج نطاق الإجراءات الأميركية الهادفة إلى تكثيف الضغوط الاقتصادية على طهران.

وقالت وزارة الخزانة الأميركية إن إجراءها الأخير يستهدف أيضا "36 جهة تقدّم الدعم لقطاع الطيران الإيراني الذي يستخدمه النظام في نقل الأسلحة والأفراد والشحنات غير المشروعة".
