هدد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، الاثنين، بشنّ "حرب شاملة" ضد السلطة الفلسطينية في حال أقدمت على التحضير لهجوم ضد القوات الإسرائيلية أو المستوطنات.

وقال وزير جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس في بيان "إذا حدث تغيير في التوجه، وبدأت الأجهزة الأمنية التابعة للسلطة الفلسطينية والهيئات المرتبطة بها بشن هجوم (..) على غرار 7 أكتوبر ضد قواتنا والمستوطنات، أو إذا تأكدنا بشكل قاطع من أنها على وشك تنفيذ مثل هذا الهجوم، فقد وجّه رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو وأنا الجيش الإسرائيلي بالاستعداد لشن حرب شاملة ضد القيادة العليا للسلطة وأجهزتها والهيئات المرتبطة بها".
