حقق فريق السلط فوزا على نظيره العربي بنتيجة 3-1، في المباراة التي جرت السبت، على ستاد الملك عبدالله الثاني، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من دوري المحترفين الأردني لكرة القدم.

وافتتح المحترف النيجيري سليماني باباتوندي التسجيل للسلط في الدقيقة 25، قبل أن يتمكن العربي من تعديل النتيجة عن طريق أحمد شديفات في الدقيقة 47.

وتمكن السلط من استعادة تقدمه بتسجيل الهدف الثاني بواسطة خالد عصام في الدقيقة 65، قبل أن يعود باباتوندي ويسجل الهدف الثالث لفريقه في الدقيقة 76، والثاني له في المباراة.
