حسم النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي جدلًا مستمرًا منذ سنوات حول هوية أفضل لاعب في تاريخ كرة القدم، بعدما نشر عبر حسابه على إنستغرام فيديو ترويجيًا بعنوان «تاب كلوزد»، يستعرض أبرز محطات مسيرته وإنجازاته بطريقة مبتكرة.

ويظهر في الفيديو إيصال طويل تُطبع عليه أرقام وإحصاءات وعبارات تلخص تأثير ميسي في كرة القدم، قبل أن تظهر في نهايته عبارات تؤكد أنه حطم الأرقام القياسية وأعاد تعريف التوقعات وألهم العالم، ثم تأتي الجملة الأخيرة: «جدل الأفضل في التاريخ حُسم».

ورغم أن ميسي لم ينطق بهذه العبارة بنفسه، فإن ظهورها في الفيديو أثار تفاعلًا واسعًا، خصوصًا في ظل المقارنة المستمرة بينه وبين كريستيانو رونالدو.

وأنهى ميسي مسيرته الدولية بـ207 مباريات و125 هدفًا، إلى جانب التتويج بكأس العالم 2022 وكوبا أميركا عامي 2021 و2024.
