إسرائيل تهدد بريطانيا بالرد في حال فرض عقوبات عليها

حذّرت إسرائيل بريطانيا، الثلاثاء، من أنها سترد على أي عقوبات بعد أن تعهّدت لندن بإعادة النظر في سياستها تجاه إسرائيل ردا على أعمال العنف التي يرتكبها المستوطنون في الضفة الغربية المحتلة.

وقال وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر في بودكاست "إذا اتخذت بريطانيا إجراء ضد دولة إسرائيل، فإن دولة إسرائيل ستتخذ إجراء ضد بريطانيا".

من جانبه، قال وزير الخارجية البريطاني إد ميليباند أن لندن ستقدم حزمة "شاملة" من الإجراءات ضد المستوطنات الإسرائيلية في الضفة الغربية خلال الأسابيع المقبلة.

وجاءت تصريحات الوزير البريطاني وسط تصاعد أعمال العنف التي يرتكبها المستوطنون في الضفة الغربية.
