وفاة بطل العالم للتجديف جيرجي بوروش

لقي الهنغاري جيرجي بوروش بطل العالم في التجديف (الكانوي/الكياك) حتفه في عمر 42 عاما جراء حادث عمل أليم، وفقا لوسائل إعلام محلية.

وبحسب الشرطة المحلية، فقد توفي بوروش في 26 آب الماضي بمدينة باكس الهنغارية أثناء مشاركته في بناء ملعب للبادل داخل أحد الأندية الرياضية، حيث سقط عليه هيكل زجاجي ضخم.

وقد فتحت الشرطة تحقيقا جنائيا في الحادث بتهمة التسبب في الوفاة عن طريق الإهمال.

وقدم الاتحاد الهنغاري للكانوي والكاياك تعازيه الحارة في وفاة الرياضي السابق.

يذكر أن بوروش توج بطلا للعالم عام 2007 في مدينة دويسبورغ لسباق الكاياك الرباعي (K4) لمسافة 200 متر، كما حصد الميدالية الفضية في بطولة العالم عام 2014 بموسكو لسباق الكاياك الزوجي لمسافة 500 متر.

وأعلن بوروش اعتزاله اللعب الاحترافي عام 2017، ليعمل بعدها في الاتحاد الهنغاري للكانوي.
