وتخطى القطري منافسه البحريني 28 - 24 بصالة الأميرة سمية بنت الحسن بمدينة الحسين للشباب في المباراة النهائية وسط الحضور الجماهيري الكبير.

وترافت منتخبات قطر والبحرين وكوريا الجنوبية وإيران إلى بطولة العالم المقبلة بعد أن منحت التعليمات القارة الآسيوية ٤ مقاعد في المنافسات التي استصافها الاتحاد الأردني لكرة اليد.
