حذرت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية السائقين على الطريق الصحراوي، ولا سيما في منطقة القطرانة والمناطق المحيطة، من تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية نتيجة الغبار المثار بفعل الرياح النشطة.

ودعت الإدارة السائقين على الطرق الخارجية إلى توخي الحيطة والحذر، وتخفيف السرعة، وترك مسافة أمان كافية، والانتباه إلى احتمالية حدوث تدنٍ مفاجئ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
