أعلن الرئيس دونالد ترامب الجمعة، أن الولايات المتحدة أبرمت اتفاقا نفطيا كبيرا مع كراكاس يمنحها السيطرة على غالبية احتياطيات نفطية مؤكدة تتجاوز 65 مليار برميل في فنزويلا.

ووصف ترامب الاتفاق في منشور على منصته تروث سوشال بأنه "أضخم صفقة نفطية في تاريخ العالم"، مشيرا إلى أنه سيزيد الاحتياطيات النفطية الأميركية بأكثر من الضعف.
