الاتحاد الأوروبي يوافق على مساعدات لأوكرانيا بقيمة 6.1 مليار يورو لدعم دفاعاتها

وافقت المفوضية الأوروبية، الاثنين، على تقديم مساعدات مالية إضافية بقيمة 6.1 مليار يورو لأوكرانيا لشراء أنظمة دفاعية جديدة، تشمل أنظمة الدفاع الجوي والصواريخ والذخيرة وأجهزة الرادار.

وذكر الاتحاد الأوروبي أن هذه الحزمة من المساعدات تضاف إلى 16 مليار يورو من خطط الشراء المعتمدة سابقا، والتي تم صرف 8.35 مليار يورو منها بالفعل.

وقالت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين في بيان إنه مع تصعيد روسيا لهجماتها، فإن المفوضية الأوروبية تكثف جهودها لمساعدة أوكرانيا على حماية شعبها والدفاع عن أجوائها، وإن أوروبا تقف إلى جانب أوكرانيا وستوفر لها ما تحتاجه عندما تحتاج إليه".
